Technical Details

The New York Crystal Palace was digitally reconstructed using Blender. PLA material sliced structures were then printed using an Ultimaker S3. The exhibit is displayed above a flat TV screen, which plays 1850s street scenes created in Unreal Engine to enhance visitor immersion. Scanning a QR code allows for 3D model viewing on the Sketchfab platform. In the future, the model will be presented via AR at Bryant Park, the original site of the New York Crystal Palace.
