This project draws inspiration from my military service in Taiwan, where all new recruits shared a large military barracks. The piece reimagines that space by recreating its repetitive, confining, and almost prison-like design. It aims to convey the oppressive, monotonous, and inescapable state of mind experienced during military enlistment.
This work was developed as part of the NYU ITP Synthetic Architectures course. It was created using Unreal Engine 5. Within a limited scope, the project utilized standardized objects to construct each individual's imagined "Endless Bedroom," exploring the constraints and possibilities of the given environment.
