To optimize the space within the Constructing Liberty section, I redesigned the exhibition layout to create a more interactive and immersive viewing experience. The most significant change involved flipping the full-scale copper foot to face outward. This allowed the interior of the statue to be recreated using the back of the foot, inviting visitors to step inside, touch, and observe the internal support structure and the comparison between rusted iron and stainless steel bars.
Specific redesign elements include Direct Model Comparison, Hands-on Interaction Elements, Diorama Figures, Statue Interior Recreation, Lighting and Projection Adjustment, and Sound Effects. These components were carefully integrated to transform the exhibition experience through tactile, auditory, visual, and physical movement redesigns.
